News Release

Friday, August 5, 2011: RT MINERALS COMMENCES TRADING ON THE TSX VENTURE EXCHANGE ON AUGUST 5, 2011

Vancouver, BC – RT Minerals Corp. (“RTM” / the “Company”) (CNSX: RTM) is pleased to announce that its common shares have been approved for listing on the TSX Venture Exchange (the “TSXV”).  RTM has commenced trading on the TSXV under the symbol “RTM” at the opening on August 5, 2011.

Donald (Dan) M. Clark, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, said, “Advancing our listing to the TSXV is a milestone achievement for RTM that recognizes RTM’s ability to finance and advance its development plan for the 100% owned Bazooka and McWatters gold properties, Quebec, as well as RTM’s 25% option in the Meunier property where current drilling is testing the potential down plunge extension of Lake Shore Gold Corp. Timmins Mine and Rusk zone in the west Timmins gold camp of Ontario.  This listing provides us the ability to reach a broader investor base”.

RTM is a junior exploration company actively exploring its 100% owned Bazooka and McWatters gold properties situated approximately 7 to 9km south and south east of Noranda, Quebec. Lake Shore Gold Corp. (TSX-LSG) is the Company’s largest shareholder holding 27% of RTM’s common shares.

The Company’s Listing Application to the TSXV is available on the Company profile on SEDAR at www.sedar.com.
